HAMNA WILDLIFE & ARCTIC RESORT

Hamna – Where Tranquility Meets Wild Nature and Adventure

Hamna is our paradise, beautifully located on a peninsula at the far end of Syltefjord.

This is the perfect place for anyone seeking peace, closeness to nature, and genuine wilderness experiences. It is hard to get any closer to nature than this.

Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee while sea eagles soar past your window or watch dolphins passing by out in the fjord. Occasionally, orcas also make an appearance.

The entire Syltefjord Valley teems with birdlife – you can spot ruffs, ptarmigan, skuas, swans,

rough-legged buzzards, bluethroats, yellow-billed loons, eiders, golden eagles, and Eurasian dotterels.

Book a trip to the Syltefjordstauran bird cliffs and experience one of Norway’s most spectacular bird cliffs from the boat – with thousands of gannets, guillemots, black guillemots, puffins, cormorants,

and sea eagles. It is an unforgettable adventure!

Hamna offers a house with five bedrooms (9–10 beds), several rorbu cabins with between one and three bedrooms, and all with kitchens and bathrooms so you can enjoy comfort in the middle of nature.

On site you will also find a meeting room for up to 50 people, a bar, two wood-fired hot tubs, a sauna,

a grill house, and barbecue area – as well as a range of activities and experiences to choose from.

Hamna is more than just a place to stay – it is an experience in itself.

Whether you come for peace and quiet, for courses and conferences, for unique encounters with nature, team-building, or action-packed adventures, Hamna in Syltefjord will leave a lasting impression.
